The Ortofon 2M Bronze is a premium Moving Magnet cartridge for listeners who want to uncover more detail, space and nuance from their records. Its slender Nude Fine Line diamond accurately traces even high-frequency groove information. Combined with an aluminium cantilever, Ortofon's split pole pin technology and silver-plated OFC coil wire, it delivers clear, controlled and richly detailed playback. With a 5 mV output and standard 1/2-inch mounting, the 2M Bronze integrates easily into many high-quality MM systems.

Use the 2M Bronze with an MM phono input, a recommended load resistance of 47 kΩ and a total load capacitance of 150-300 pF. Set the tracking force to the recommended 1.5 grams and align the cartridge carefully. This is the standard 1/2-inch version. Check the available mounting height and tonearm compatibility before ordering. Ortofon also offers Premounted, Verso and 2MR configurations for other mounting requirements.
