The Furutech FP-SWS (G) is a premium Schuko wall socket designed for carefully assembled audio and video power systems. Furutech combines gold-plated α (Alpha) pure copper conductors with a robust mechanical construction and a specially designed pressure plate that increases the effective contact area.
Positioned at the fixed connection point between the mains installation and your power cable, the FP-SWS (G) provides a high-quality foundation for an audiophile power setup.
The current-carrying conductors of the FP-SWS (G) are manufactured from α (Alpha) pure copper and finished with gold plating. Furutech applies its Alpha treatment to conductive metal components as part of its approach to stable and high-quality electrical transmission.
The socket is a 2-pole + earth Schuko design and is rated at 16A / 250V AC.
Furutech pays particular attention to the mechanical quality of the connection. A specially designed pressure plate increases the contact area of the Alpha conductors. The screw terminals accommodate conductors up to 5.5 mm² / 10 AWG, approximately 2.8 mm conductor diameter.
The body is manufactured from nylon/fibreglass with a polycarbonate cover. A 1.0 mm zinc/steel brace plate provides additional mechanical support, while the front plate is manufactured from ABS.
