The WBT 0110 Cu is a premium nextgen™ RCA connector engineered for highly accurate transmission of analogue and digital audio and video signals. Its typical 75-ohm characteristic impedance and transmission bandwidth of up to 1 GHz make it especially suitable for digital connections between CD players, streamers, DACs and preamplifiers.
The single-piece signal conductors are made from high-purity copper. Their nickel-free, directly gold-plated contact surfaces combine excellent conductivity with durable protection against oxidation. WBT’s low-mass nextgen™ construction eliminates eddy-current distortion and minimises undesirable mass-storage effects.
The patented WBT collet chuck mechanism firmly clamps the outer contact around the RCA socket. This creates a stable connection with low contact resistance. Its two-piece clamping sleeve prevents torsional stress from reaching the contact elements and compensates for dimensional differences between RCA sockets.
The slotted centre pin produces a firm yet resilient contact for a reliable long-term electrical connection. A Torx T.6 screw provides secure cable strain relief. The WBT 0110 Cu accepts cables up to 9 mm in diameter and is installed using a solder connection.
