WBT 0102 Ag Nextgen™ RCA plug for analogue audio connections

The WBT 0102 Ag Nextgen™ RCA plug is designed for audiophiles, professional cable builders and demanding users seeking an uncompromised analogue connection. Its central contact unit incorporates signal conductors made from solid fine silver. Silver’s excellent electrical conductivity supports exceptionally fast, precise and detailed signal transmission.

The low-mass Nextgen™ design minimises the amount of metal surrounding the actual signal conductors. This substantially reduces eddy currents compared with conventional high-mass RCA plugs. With a transmission bandwidth of up to 200 MHz, the WBT-0102 Ag also provides generous technical headroom for high-quality analogue audio signals.

Excellent electromagnetic shielding

The conductive brass clamping barrel is connected to the negative contact and provides effective EMI shielding. This is especially important for sensitive phono, microphone and other low-level audio signals. Interference generated by computers, mobile phones and nearby electronic equipment is therefore effectively reduced.

WBT’s patented locking collet mechanism securely clamps the outer contact around the RCA socket. The high contact pressure ensures a stable mechanical connection while minimising contact resistance. A Torx screw provides dependable cable strain relief.
