The Ortofon 2M Red Verso is specifically designed for headshells that require the cartridge to be secured from below. Its elliptical diamond traces the record groove accurately, producing an open, lively and dynamic presentation. With an output voltage of 5.5 mV, the cartridge can be connected directly to virtually any standard MM phono input.

Before ordering, check that your headshell supports installation from below. For conventional top mounting, choose the standard 2M Red; for a tonearm with a universal SME connection, a premounted version is more suitable. Set the tracking force to 1.8 grams and align the cartridge carefully. The Ortofon 2M Red replacement stylus can be replaced easily. Upgrading to a 2M Blue stylus is also possible.
