The Ortofon 2M Black replacement stylus restores a 2M Black cartridge to its intended performance level. Its Nude Shibata diamond provides an exceptionally wide contact area with the groove walls, allowing it to retrieve extremely fine detail and high-frequency groove information with impressive precision. The result is an open, transparent and spacious presentation combined with excellent tracking ability. It is also a premium upgrade for the 2M Bronze family. This product contains the replacement stylus only; a complete cartridge is not included.

After fitting the stylus, set the tracking force to the recommended 1.5 grams and check the cartridge alignment and anti-skating adjustment. Clean records and regular, careful stylus maintenance help preserve sound quality and extend its service life. For a 2M Black LVB 250, we recommend using the dedicated 2M Black LVB 250 replacement stylus.
