The WBT-0710 Cu mC is a premium nextgen™ binding post for demanding loudspeaker manufacturers, DIY builders and audiophiles. It combines a pure-copper signal conductor with an elegant velour-chrome finish. This package contains four terminals, making it suitable for one conventional stereo pair of loudspeakers.
WBT’s nextgen™ design separates signal transmission from mechanical stability. The audio signal passes through a low-mass conductor made of pure copper, while glass-fibre and mineral-reinforced polymers provide mechanical strength. This reduces large metal masses, eddy-current distortion and unwanted mass-storage effects.
The one-piece signal conductor eliminates unnecessary transition points. Its contact surface is protected by nickel-free, 24-carat direct gold plating applied using WBT’s PlasmaProtect™ process. This protects the copper against corrosion and supports durable, reliable signal transmission.
The WBT-0710 Cu mC accepts 4 mm banana plugs, spade connectors and bare or crimped cable ends. Internal wiring can be soldered or connected with a 6.3 mm flat push-on cable shoe. Its fully insulated construction complies with CE and IEC requirements.
An elastomer damping ring helps isolate the contact area from mechanical vibration. The supplied mounting insulators, washers and puzzle plates provide insulated, twist-proof installation.
