The Heavy version is primarily intended for turntables with a heavy platter or powerful motor, including suitable belt-drive and direct-drive models. Before use, check whether the turntable manufacturer permits an additional load of 350 grams. The lighter 240-gram version is normally more appropriate for lightweight and suspended-subchassis turntables. The centre spindle must not extend more than 18 mm above the record surface.
