The Ortofon LH-6000 is a high-quality headshell designed for accurate cartridge mounting and alignment. Its magnesium construction provides a stable platform while keeping the weight to 13.5 grams. The rounded front section and adjustable mounting distance allow the cartridge to be positioned carefully. Ortofon particularly recommends the LH-6000 for the MC Windfeld Ti and cartridges from the Cadenza Series.

Before purchasing, check that your tonearm supports a detachable headshell of this type. The combined weight of the headshell, mounting hardware and cartridge must also remain within the adjustment range of the tonearm counterweight. The lead wires follow Ortofon's standard colour coding: red and green for the right channel and white and blue for the left channel. Always realign the cartridge and reset the tracking force after installation.
