Its solid aluminium construction combines a clean, minimalist appearance with flexible cartridge mounting. With an adjustable mounting distance from 35.3 to 43.4 mm, a wide variety of cartridges can be installed and aligned accurately. Ortofon specifically lists its popular 2M Series as a suitable match.

The LH-2000 is particularly useful when accurate cartridge mounting and alignment are required. Ortofon recommends connecting the lead wires to the cartridge and headshell before securing the cartridge to the headshell. After installation, always check cartridge overhang, alignment and tracking force according to the specifications of your turntable and cartridge.
