The Tonar 4602 DJ Headshell is a practical detachable cartridge holder for turntables and DJ decks fitted with a standard SME-type bayonet connection. Its black aluminium construction provides a lightweight platform for mounting and aligning a compatible MM or DJ cartridge. It also allows several cartridges to be prepared in advance and changed quickly on a compatible tonearm.

Before ordering, check whether your turntable uses a detachable headshell with an SME-type bayonet connection. After mounting the cartridge, the overhang, cartridge alignment, tracking force and anti-skating must be adjusted correctly. The tonearm counterweight may also need to be readjusted to accommodate the headshell’s approximate 9 g weight.
The Tonar 4602 is supplied without a cartridge or stylus.
