The Furutech FI-E11 CU is a high-performance CEE7-VII Schuko mains plug designed for building or upgrading power cables for high-quality audio and audiovisual equipment. Its current-carrying contacts use a non-plated eutectic α (Alpha) copper alloy, with no gold, silver or rhodium plating applied.
This makes the FI-E11 CU particularly attractive to enthusiasts and professional cable builders who specifically prefer a high-quality non-plated copper connection when assembling a premium mains cable.
The current-carrying components of the FI-E11 CU are manufactured from a eutectic copper alloy and used as Furutech α (Alpha) conductors. Furutech treats its metallic components using its Alpha Process, combining cryogenic treatment with demagnetisation.
The connector provides an excellent foundation for power cables used with amplifiers, DACs, network streamers, CD players, phono stages, power conditioners and other high-quality audio or video components.
The FI-E11 CU is manufactured to the CEE7-VII specification and rated at 16A / 250V AC. The connector also carries KEMA-KEUR certification.
It accepts cables with an outside diameter of 6.6 to 16.0 mm. Furutech specifies that cable diameters up to approximately 20 mm can be accommodated when using a longer fixing screw. Wire accommodation is up to 5.5 mm² / 10 AWG.
The front body is manufactured from nylon and fibreglass, while the outer shell is made from polycarbonate. This combination provides a solid construction suitable for premium custom-made and DIY power cables.
