The Ortofon 2M Bronze Verso is a premium Moving Magnet cartridge designed for turntables that require the cartridge to be attached from underneath the headshell. This dedicated Verso construction combines practical bottom mounting with the refined and accurate performance of the acclaimed 2M Bronze.

The slim Fine Line profile can accurately trace finely recorded high-frequency information. This makes subtle ambience, instrument placement and small dynamic variations easier to hear. The aluminium cantilever transfers the movements of the diamond quickly and accurately.
The quad-coil generator uses split pole pins and silver-plated OFC coil wire. This construction contributes to precise channel reproduction and the open, balanced presentation of the 2M Bronze Verso.
The Verso version was developed specifically for headshells that require the cartridge to be mounted from below. This differs from the standard 2M housing, which is normally secured from above. Check the mounting arrangement of your headshell or tonearm before ordering.

Connect the 2M Bronze Verso to a Moving Magnet phono input with a recommended load resistance of 47 kΩ and a capacitance between 150 and 300 pF. Set the tracking force accurately to 1.5 grams and check both cartridge alignment and anti-skating.
