Add modern music streaming to your existing amplifier or powered speakers. The WiiM Mini supports AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, multi-room playback and hi-res audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Read more.
The WiiM Mini adds modern music streaming to almost any existing amplifier, AV receiver, powered speaker system or external DAC. This compact network player streams audio over Wi-Fi at resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz and supports AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA, internet radio and multi-room playback.
It is an ideal solution when you are happy with the sound of your existing audio system but want convenient access to modern streaming services without replacing your amplifier. Measuring just 69 × 69 × 24 mm, the WiiM Mini can be positioned discreetly beside or behind your equipment.

If your amplifier or receiver does not have built-in network streaming, connect the WiiM Mini to a spare analogue line input or optical digital input. Music can then be controlled through the intuitive WiiM Home app, the native app of a supported streaming service or a compatible voice-control device.
The WiiM Mini does not contain a power amplifier. Passive loudspeakers therefore still require an amplifier or receiver. Powered speakers can be connected directly when they provide a suitable analogue or optical input.
Over Wi-Fi, the WiiM Mini supports audio playback at up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Its integrated Texas Instruments PCM5121 DAC converts the digital signal into analogue audio and provides a signal-to-noise ratio of up to 106 dB. This allows the streamer to be connected directly to an analogue input on an amplifier or pair of powered speakers.
If you already own a high-quality external DAC, amplifier with digital inputs or AV receiver, use the optical S/PDIF output. Your existing audio component will then perform the digital-to-analogue conversion.
Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect allow the WiiM Mini to be selected directly from the Spotify or TIDAL app. Your phone or tablet acts as the controller while the music is streamed directly from the service to the WiiM Mini over the network.
Apple users can stream audio from an iPhone, iPad or Mac through AirPlay 2. The WiiM Home app also provides access to a wide range of music services, internet radio stations, podcasts, local files and compatible NAS libraries. Supported services include Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music, TuneIn and Radio Paradise.
Availability of individual music services may vary by country, subscription and software version.
Despite its compact dimensions, the WiiM Mini provides several useful connections:
A turntable can only be connected to the analogue input when the turntable has a built-in phono preamplifier or when a separate phono preamplifier is installed between the turntable and WiiM Mini.
Multiple WiiM devices can be grouped in the WiiM Home app for synchronised multi-room playback. The WiiM Mini can also be used within suitable AirPlay 2 and Alexa multi-room systems.
The app provides volume control, presets, alarms, playback groups, graphic and parametric equalisation and RoomFit room correction. Voice control is possible through a compatible Amazon Alexa or Apple Siri device.
