Rather than relying on a conventional switch-mode design, the Lineo5 uses linear regulation. A toroidal transformer combined with high-quality capacitors and voltage regulators provides consistent power while reducing ripple and high-frequency interference.
This makes the Lineo5 particularly suitable as a power-supply upgrade for sensitive digital audio equipment such as streamers and DACs.
The Volumio Lineo5 is compatible with products including the Volumio Rivo, Rivo Plus, Preciso, Primo V2, Primo V3 and Primo Plus. It may also be used with other audio equipment requiring exactly 5 V DC, provided the current requirement, connector size and polarity are compatible.
Not compatible with: Volumio Integro and Volumio Motivo.
