The Tonar Nostatic Mat II combines soft synthetic felt with conductive carbon fibres. The felt supports the record and helps damp unwanted vibrations caused by acoustic feedback or external influences. The carbon fibres collect static charge from the record and conduct it away through contact with the centre spindle and turntable platter.
At only 2 mm thick, this mat is particularly suitable as a replacement for an existing mat of a similar thickness. This helps preserve the turntable's original tonearm geometry. Explore all Tonar products.

Remove the existing turntable mat and place the Tonar Nostatic Mat II directly onto the platter. Check that its 2 mm thickness is suitable for your turntable. If it differs substantially from the original mat, the tonearm height or Vertical Tracking Angle may need to be checked.
