One of their absolute highlights is a solid silver IEC connector, thanks to its unparalleled purity—at a price point where other brands only offer silver- or rhodium-plated versions.
All IeGO products are manufactured in-house using Furukawa copper as the base material. Unlike many competitors who use phosphor bronze or brass (both less conductive), IeGO uses 99.99% pure Japanese "prime grade red copper." This copper is chemically purified in an acid bath and then cryogenically treated at -240°C for 20 hours. This process reduces internal stresses, increases hardness, and improves conductivity – ensuring contacts retain their shape and deliver peak performance.
The IeGO IEC plug is crafted from pure Furukawa copper and finished with a high-quality silver plating. The housing is made of special PVC, manufactured in Japan by General, and ensures excellent electrical insulation and durability.
