The Furutech FT-SWS NCF (R) is a high-performance Schuko wall outlet developed for demanding audio and video systems. Furutech combines rhodium-plated α-pure copper conductors with its proprietary NCF technology (Nano Crystal² Formula) and a highly rigid mechanical construction.
In a high-end audio system, a reliable power supply starts at the wall. The FT-SWS NCF (R) is designed to provide a stable electrical connection while helping to control unwanted mechanical resonance and static influences.
A key feature of the FT-SWS NCF (R) is Furutech's Nano Crystal² Formula. According to Furutech, NCF combines a special crystalline material with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder, selected for their electrical and mechanical damping properties.
The NCF material is incorporated into the nylon/fiberglass body of the outlet, helping create a stable, resonance-controlled construction suitable for high-quality hi-fi, home cinema and studio installations.
The main conductors of the Furutech FT-SWS NCF (R) are manufactured from α (Alpha) pure copper and finished with rhodium plating. This construction is intended to provide reliable conductivity, durability and long-term contact stability.
Furutech also uses a specially designed pressure plate to increase the contact area between the conductor and connected mains wiring.
The FT-SWS NCF (R) features an NCF nylon/fiberglass body, a 1 mm zinc/steel brace plate and a cast Zn-Mg alloy front plate with a carbon-fibre finish.
