The Clearaudio Stylus Cleaner Gel AC176 provides a quick and convenient way to keep your turntable stylus clean. Its specially developed antistatic silicone pad attracts even very fine dust particles without requiring cleaning fluid, brushing or rubbing.
A clean stylus is important for accurately tracking the information contained in a vinyl record groove. Dust and debris can accumulate around the stylus tip during playback. The Stylus Cleaner Gel from Clearaudio makes regular stylus maintenance simple and convenient.
The Stylus Cleaner Gel uses a special antistatic silicone material. When the stylus is gently lowered onto the pad, tiny dust particles adhere to its surface. There is no need to apply cleaning liquid directly to the stylus and no brushing or scrubbing is required.
This low-contact cleaning method is particularly suitable for regular stylus maintenance and provides a convenient alternative or complement to traditional stylus brushes and liquid cleaners.
Position the Stylus Cleaner Gel securely beneath the stylus and gently lower the tonearm until the stylus touches the cleaning surface. Repeat this procedure two or three times. Do not drag the stylus across the surface of the pad.
When the cleaning surface becomes dirty, the pad can be rinsed under running water. Once completely dry, it is ready to be used again.
