The WBT 0710 Ag nextgen™ is a premium speaker terminal for audiophiles, loudspeaker builders and manufacturers who refuse to compromise on signal transmission. This version comes as a set of four terminals and features a signal conductor made from pure fine silver.
Unlike conventional solid-metal binding posts, the WBT nextgen™ design uses metal only where it is electrically necessary. Its substantially reduced metal mass minimises eddy-current effects and unwanted energy storage, enabling exceptionally pure and low-loss transmission of the audio signal.
The signal-carrying contact of the WBT-0710 Ag is manufactured from fine silver. Mechanical loads are handled by carefully selected functional materials. This allows WBT to combine outstanding electrical conductivity with a stable, safe and fully insulated construction.
On the outside, the terminal accepts 4 mm banana plugs, spade connectors and crimped cable ends up to 6 mm². The internal connection can be soldered or connected using a flat push-on terminal. The WBT-0710 Ag is designed for installation in a loudspeaker cabinet wall.
