The WBT-0705 Cu Nextgen™ is a high-quality speaker binding post designed for reliable connections on loudspeakers, power amplifiers and premium audio components. This complete set contains four terminals, making it suitable for a stereo connection or a pair of single-wired loudspeakers.
Unlike conventional terminals that use a solid brass conductor, the WBT-0705 Cu features a pure-copper signal conductor. WBT's Nextgen™ construction reduces the metal mass to the functional minimum. This design minimises unwanted mass-storage and eddy-current effects within the signal path.
The copper signal conductor is protected by a direct, nickel-free gold-plated finish. This layer protects the copper against oxidation without placing a conventional nickel layer in the signal path. The WBT-0705 Cu consequently combines excellent conductivity with dependable long-term contact quality.
The external connection accepts 4mm banana plugs, spade connectors with a 6–8mm opening and crimped cable ends up to 4mm². Internally, the terminal can be soldered or connected with a 6.3mm flat push-on connector. Installation is possible in panels measuring between 0.9 and 10mm thick.
