The clamping nut is designed to provide a perfect grip. The gold-plated surface prevents any form of corrosion.

You can use the patented WBT tension nut system to make high pressure spade and crimped cable end connections. The cross-milled surface on the underside of the gland provides a permanently secure connection with extremely low contact resistance. It also prevents splitting of cable strands when exposed cable ends are used.
Inner connecti
Cables with a conductor cross section of up to 10 mm² (7 AWG) can be used on the inside. The connections can be soldered or crimped.
For soldered connections, WBT recommends the surface-friendly silver solder WBT-0800.
An additional T.6 Torx screw is required for crimp connections.

Mounting insulators are supplied and provide not only insulation, but also twist-proof mounting and polarity identification. Jam nuts, double step cam washers and puzzle plates are also supplied. The puzzle plates can be clicked together. This ensures a precise end distance of 19 or 30 mm, but above all absolute torsion protection. The nuts on devices with high intrinsic mechanical vibration levels, such as loudspeakers, require additional tightening – for example with the WBT Serrated Lock Washer WBT-9150. If a fixed distance of 19 mm is required, one can use the spacer WBT-9404 and install the WBT-0763 as a double terminal. Locking slots in the spacer allow the inlet opening for the connecting cable to be rotated in 45° increments.

Hint for OEMs
Due to current safety regulations, the 4 mm banana holes of the WBT pole clamps must be closed with the safety stick WBT-0799.
