The leaded silver solder from WBT is designed for creating and repairing reliable solder joints in premium audio applications. Its alloy contains 4% fine silver and combines excellent workability with a low melting range of only 178–180°C.
This relatively low processing temperature allows cables, connectors and sensitive contact parts to be soldered quickly and accurately. It helps limit the thermal load placed on premium components, which is particularly important when repairing audio cables, loudspeaker connectors, RCA connections and other delicate signal paths.
The addition of 4% fine silver helps create strong, stable and permanently conductive solder joints. The solder flows evenly, making it suitable for work where mechanical reliability and a clean professional finish are equally important.
WBT uses a halogen-free flux that is gentle on precious-metal surfaces. This makes the solder particularly suitable for repairing high-quality connectors and audio components equipped with plated or precious-metal contact parts.
WBT leaded silver solder is available in several spool sizes and wire diameters. The compact WBT-0800 consumer pack is ideal for occasional repairs and DIY projects. The larger WBT-0820 and WBT-0840 spools are intended for regular workshop and production use.
