The WBT 0730.12 Signature is a premium binding post developed for loudspeakers, amplifiers and demanding audio projects. This package contains a set of four binding posts with a polished, directly platinum-plated and nickel-free finish.
Its patented two-piece clamping nut incorporates a freely rotating pressure element with a cross-milled contact surface. This construction generates high and evenly distributed contact pressure, producing a durable connection with an exceptionally low contact resistance.
The external connection accepts 4 mm banana plugs, spade connectors with a 6 or 8 mm fork opening and crimped cable ends up to 6 mm². The freely rotating pressure element helps prevent the spade from turning while tightening and protects exposed cable strands against damage.
The internal connection accommodates cables up to 10 mm². Cables can be crimped or soldered and securely fixed using the Torx screw. WBT recommends crimping for a reliable and consistently reproducible connection.
The polished platinum-plated surface provides excellent corrosion resistance and creates a robust, abrasion-resistant finish. Its brilliant appearance also makes the WBT 0730.12 suitable for visually refined loudspeaker and amplifier designs. The maximum continuous current rating is 70 A.
