Remove the existing mat and place the Tonar 5978 directly onto a clean platter. Its 295 mm diameter fits many conventional turntables, but the platter should be measured before ordering. Compare the 3 mm thickness with that of the original mat. If there is a significant height difference, check the tonearm height or VTA and the available clearance beneath the dust cover.
