Originally released in 1991, Dangerous marked an important musical development in Michael Jackson’s career. The album blends pop, R&B, funk, rock, hip-hop, gospel and New Jack Swing. Songs such as Black or White, Remember the Time, In the Closet, Heal the World and Give In to Me helped make the album a global success.
Michael Jackson collaborated with producer Teddy Riley on several tracks. Powerful rhythms, electronic production, layered vocals and a wide variety of musical styles give Dangerous its distinctive and highly dynamic character.
