The FiiO K11 combines a versatile desktop DAC with a powerful headphone amplifier in a compact aluminium enclosure. Featuring the Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC, a 4.4mm balanced headphone output, up to 1400mW + 1400mW into 32 ohms and support for PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256, the K11 offers an excellent foundation for a high-quality desktop audio system.
USB-C, optical and coaxial digital inputs make it easy to connect a PC, Mac, streamer, CD transport, television or compatible games console. The stereo RCA line output also allows the K11 to operate as a standalone DAC for an integrated amplifier or active speakers.
At the heart of the FiiO K11 is the proven Cirrus Logic CS43198. Through USB, the K11 supports PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256. Its coaxial input supports PCM up to 192kHz/24-bit, while the optical input handles up to 96kHz/24-bit.
The clear LCD display provides useful information including sampling rate, volume, gain level and selected output.
The K11 provides both a 6.35mm single-ended output and a 4.4mm balanced headphone output. In High Gain, the balanced connection delivers up to 1400mW + 1400mW into 32 ohms. The 6.35mm output delivers up to 520mW + 520mW into 32 ohms.
Three selectable gain levels – Low, Medium and High – help match the amplifier to sensitive earphones as well as more demanding full-size headphones.
The FiiO K11 supports UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0. Windows 10 and later systems can use the K11 in its driver-free USB mode, while FiiO's USB driver can be installed when access to the full range of supported sampling rates is required.
UAC 1.0 also enables compatibility with gaming systems including the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, making the K11 equally useful for music, movies and gaming.
Thanks to its stereo RCA line output, the K11 can also function as a dedicated DAC in a traditional Hi-Fi system or with active speakers. This flexibility makes it a useful central hub for a desktop audio system.

The standard FiiO K11 uses the CS43198 delta-sigma DAC and is an excellent choice for listeners wanting a versatile, neutral and powerful desktop DAC/AMP. The FiiO K11 R2R replaces the CS43198 with FiiO's own fully differential 24-bit R2R resistor-array DAC and adds selectable NOS and OS operating modes.
