Top apparaatje en super eenvoudig in gebruik. Geluidskwaliteit in combinatie met de iFi dac v2 is echt boven verwachting met streaming vanaf Tidal. Erg tevreden!

+ Goede geluidskwaliteit, eenvoud in gebruik en een degelijk apparaat.

- Setup icm VPN kostte wat tijd en het setup werkt alleen in de eerste stand.

Voor dit geld geen betere streamer. Het is inmiddels mijn tweede voor op de werkkamer. Zowel wired als over wifi zeer betrouwbaar. Heb ook nog een bluesound Node aan de Hegel H90 hangen maar is qua geluid gewoon de mindere. De Ifi app is wat Spartaans vergeleken met Bluesound maar uit eindelijk gaat het toch om het geluid.

I have been using the ZEN Stream in combination with the ZEN DAC (V1) and a pair of Hifiman Sundara. It's a great combo for me and I enjoy listening to music for many hours without any listening fatigue. I was already very happy with the ZEN DAC connected to my Macbook Air while listening to music with the Hifiman Sundara. But because the ZEN Stream came with a power adapter that could also power the ZEN DAC stacked on each other perfectly, I decided to buy the ZEN Stream. Now I no longer need the Macbook Air as a source player because of the built in Spotify connect. I just browse and play my music over my iPhone's Spotify app now, which works smoothly and hassle free. Admittedly, I did some research and watched some reviews on Youtube before I ordered the ZEN Stream at HI - STANDS. If you consider buying the ZEN Stream, I urge you to check some reviews and decide for yourself if the ZEN Stream fits your needs. I read in the manual that the ZEN Stream can be played with the mobile phone WiFi only without the use of a home WiFi network. That sounds like a neat feature, but I haven't tested it that way yet, so I can't comment on that. The upgrading process of the software I experienced as fiddly. I had to hard reset the ZEN Stream 2 times to get the firmware upgraded properly. Ifi Audio could improve that process in my humble opinion.

Bedraad aangesloten, usb stick erin en apparaat toegevoegd aan het netwerk. Super!! Hij klinkt echt zoals alle reviews beschrijven. Hij speelt nu al een paar uur zonder problemen. Vanaf usb, spotify en via DLNA. Het werkt allemaal perfect.De app kan nog wel wat beter, maar voldoet voor mij.
