The WBT-0403 crimping pliers are designed for the accurate and reliable crimping of cable end sleeves and wire ferrules with conductor sizes from 0.5 to 16 mm², corresponding to 20 to 5 AWG. The crimping profiles are matched to WBT connectors, allowing cables to be terminated evenly and consistently.

The WBT-0403 has been available in an updated visual design since August 1, 2026. The changes are purely cosmetic. The dies, crimping profiles and technical construction remain unchanged, preserving the proven functionality and dependable quality associated with WBT.
Crimping mechanically compresses a cable ferrule around a stripped conductor. No soldered connection is required. Combining the correct ferrule, conductor size and crimping profile creates an evenly formed and mechanically secure cable termination.
A correctly formed crimp also prevents individual wire strands from spreading and makes it easier to install fine-stranded or larger loudspeaker cables in a suitable WBT connector.
The crimping profiles of the WBT-0403 are designed to work with WBT cable end sleeves and connector solutions. Each size is clearly marked on the jaw in both mm² and AWG, allowing the correct profile to be selected quickly.
When installing high-quality audio connectors, a correctly prepared cable termination is just as important as the connector itself. The WBT-0403 allows cable ferrules to be processed consistently and with a high degree of control.
