King's vocals on this 180-gram vinyl LP are personal, her piano playing graceful. Drummer Russ Kunkel, guitarist Danny Kortchmar and guest musicians like saxophonist Curtis Amy and guitarist James Taylor complement the singer-songwriter perfectly. MFSL remains true to itself as always: the sound is authentic and corresponds to the original master tapes, which means that the weaknesses of the production are also audible.
