The Advance Paris A-BTC is a compact bidirectional Bluetooth dongle designed to add modern wireless audio to compatible Advance Paris amplifiers. Stream music wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet or computer to your hi-fi system, or transmit audio from the amplifier to Bluetooth headphones. With Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC and aptX Lossless, the A-BTC combines wireless convenience with high-quality audio transmission.

Unlike a conventional Bluetooth receiver, the A-BTC can operate in two directions. In receiver mode, music can be streamed wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet or computer to your Advance Paris amplifier. In transmitter mode, audio from the amplifier can be sent to devices such as Bluetooth headphones.
Reception and transmission cannot be used simultaneously. The A-BTC therefore operates either as a Bluetooth receiver or as a Bluetooth transmitter.
Advance Paris Direct Path technology sends the received digital Bluetooth signal directly to the internal digital-to-analogue converter of the compatible Advance Paris component. This allows the amplifier's own high-quality DAC to handle the conversion rather than relying on a separate DAC inside the Bluetooth dongle.

The A-BTC is specifically designed for compatible Advance Paris equipment and is not a universal USB Bluetooth adapter. The A-i190 NOVA, A-i130 NOVA, A10 APEX and A12 APEX support both Bluetooth reception and transmission. With the A8 APEX, the A-BTC operates as a Bluetooth receiver only. Compatible earlier Advance Paris products equipped with a Bluetooth Wireless Digital Input for the X-FTB01 or X-FTB02 can also use the A-BTC for Bluetooth reception.
