Advance Acoustics WTX-1000
Bluetooth APT-X Receiver
We live in a time when music is increasingly less tied to a physical medium. Music is stored on all sorts of media: phones, laptops, computers, tablets, music players, and so on. But the playback quality improves when the music is played through a "real" sound system.
Advance Acoustic's new WTX-1000 Bluetooth receiver is musically gifted. The WTX-1000 offers the best of the latest Bluetooth technology, thanks to the introduction of the apt-X codec. Compatible with all A2DP Bluetooth devices, it delivers music in "CD quality."
Audio files in FLAC, Apple Lossless, or PCM are reproduced with near-perfect fidelity. MP3 or AAC files are transmitted without decoding and therefore without degradation. The 92dB dynamic range, 16-bit resolution, and exceptionally smooth frequency response between 10 Hz and 22 kHz allow this small device to reproduce music in such detail and natural detail. You can stream Spotify and Aupeo content to your audio system via your smartphone.
If your source device doesn't support apt-X, that's not a problem. The WTX-1000 supports other Bluetooth protocols. You can connect the WTX-1000 to any line input (AUX) of an amplifier, for example, via the line output (RCA). You can also connect it directly to a D/A converter, whether built into an amplifier or not, via the digital optical and coaxial outputs. Depending on the quality of the D/A converter, connecting it directly to a D/A converter will improve playback quality, which is particularly noticeable in increased detail and dynamics.
