The WBT 0735 Topline is a premium, fully insulated binding post designed for loudspeakers, amplifiers and professional audio projects. This set contains four terminals and is intended for applications demanding excellent signal transmission, mechanical stability and long-term contact reliability.
Its solid construction and patented two-piece clamping nut with freely rotating pressure piece provide exceptionally high contact pressure. This creates a secure connection with consistently low contact resistance. The nickel-free 24-carat multilayer gold plating protects the contact surfaces against corrosion.
All live parts are fully enclosed by transparent Makrolon insulation. This allows the WBT-0735 to comply with the relevant CE and IEC safety requirements. It is therefore an excellent choice for premium loudspeakers and amplifiers where both audio performance and electrical safety are essential.
A standard 4 mm banana plug can be inserted into the front of the clamping nut. Spades with a 6 or 8 mm fork opening and crimped cable ends up to 6 mm² can be secured beneath the rotating pressure piece.
The cross-milled contact surface provides a durable grip with very low contact resistance. Conductors up to 10 mm² can be connected internally by crimping or soldering. WBT recommends crimping for the most consistent and reliable connection.
The supplied mounting insulators, counter nuts, stepped washers and puzzle plates provide insulated and twist-proof installation. The interlocking puzzle plates create precise terminal spacing of 19 or 30 mm. With the optional WBT-9404 spacer, the WBT-0735 can also be installed as a double terminal.
