The Tonar Tacky Rolling Record Cleaner provides a quick, dry way to remove dust, lint and loose debris from vinyl records. Its soft, tacky elastomer roller adapts to the surface of the record as it moves across it, allowing loose particles to be lifted from the grooves. No record-cleaning fluid is required, making the Tonar 5973 particularly suitable for regular maintenance before playing a record.

Place the record on a clean, flat and stable surface. Apply light pressure and roll the cleaner in a straight line across the grooves. Do not follow the circular direction of the groove, as this may cause unnecessary wear to the elastomer roller.
After use, rinse the tacky roller with lukewarm water and, if required, a small amount of mild soap. Allow it to air-dry completely before using it again. In hard-water areas, demineralised or distilled water is preferable to help prevent limescale deposits.
The Tonar 5973 is designed to remove dry, loose surface contamination. For heavily soiled records, greasy deposits or residues left by previous cleaning products, we recommend a thorough wet clean using a suitable record-cleaning machine or record-cleaning fluid.
