Featuring the precision-built 8.8" Thorens TP 72 aluminium tonearm and a pre-mounted Audio-Technica AT 3600 MM cartridge, the TD 201 delivers detailed groove tracking and a smooth, natural sound. The belt-driven aluminium platter with a thick rubber mat ensures speed stability and excellent vibration control.
An integrated phono preamplifier—switchable at the rear—makes the TD 201 compatible with any amplifier or active speaker system. Speed change between 33 ⅓ and 45 RPM is simple via a button on the plinth. Supplied accessories include a detachable headshell, dust cover, phono cable with ground wire, and 45 RPM adapter.
