Foreign Tongues captures the enduring energy and unmistakable sound of The Rolling Stones. Released in 2026, this studio album combines Keith Richards' and Ronnie Wood's distinctive guitar work with Mick Jagger's instantly recognisable vocals and contemporary production. Featuring 14 tracks, including the single In The Stars, the record follows the success of Hackney Diamonds while exploring new musical territory. This standard edition is pressed on two heavyweight 180g black vinyl LPs and presented in a gatefold sleeve.
Recorded at Metropolis Studios in West London, Foreign Tongues reunites the band with producer Andrew Watt. The result brings together classic blues-influenced rock, memorable guitar riffs and a dynamic modern sound.
Alongside Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, the recording features contributions from Steve Jordan, Darryl Jones and Matt Clifford. It also includes a special performance by Charlie Watts from one of his final recording sessions. Guest musicians include Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith and Chad Smith.
