The STAX SR-007S is a high-end electrostatic earspeaker that continues one of the most important lines in STAX headphone history. The new unit in the STAX SR-007S uses renewed diaphragms and fixed electrodes compared with previous SR-007 models. Its large circular electrodes feature air vent holes reduced by 20%, supported by high-precision etching to refine acoustic behaviour. STAX also applies a newly developed ARS, Anti Resonance Structure, using a single-piece stainless-steel arc to improve rigidity and help control unwanted vibration. Practical specifications include a 6–41,000 Hz frequency response, DC580V bias voltage, 101 dB sensitivity at 100 Vr.m.s. and a 2.5 m OFC parallel 6-strand cable.
