Oyaide INS-BS – High-End Resonance Control in Solid Brass

The Oyaide INS-BS is an advanced resonance isolator designed to effectively dampen unwanted vibrations between audio components and their supporting surfaces, without compromising musical dynamics or harmonic richness. Thanks to a unique design—including a φ20 mm, 4 mm deep cavity—the INS-CF can be perfectly integrated, noticeably improving the signal-to-noise ratio and subtly refining the tonal balance.

The INS-BS body is crafted from pure, RoHS-compliant brass. Impurities such as lead, iron, or cadmium—which can distort sound reproduction—are kept to an absolute minimum. Precision machining using NC machines guarantees a perfect finish of the screw holes, taper angles, and surfaces. Furthermore, the housing is finished with a semi-gloss chrome plating that not only provides extra strength and durability but also gives it a luxurious appearance.

A CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) plate is attached to one side. This not only increases mechanical stability but also directs vibrations in a controlled manner to the solid brass body. With a projection of only 0.01 mm above the metal surface, only this plate comes into contact with the furniture or appliance – for maximum decoupling. The INS-BS is fully reversible, and either side can be used as a top, depending on the application.
