Before the musical “Jekyll & Hyde” could premiere on Broadway in 1997, composer Frank Wildhorn and lyricist Leslie Bricusse produced a CD with “Highlights” from the show seven years earlier in order to attract producers. Colm Wilkinson, star of “Les Miserables”, and Linda Eder were cast in the leading roles, and the album was added to the catalogue of the RCA Victor label. BMG Hong Kong released the only SACD version of this title for the Asian market.
