What is a One-Step pressing?

A One-Step pressing shortens the conventional electroplating process used to manufacture vinyl records. By eliminating additional intermediate generations, the information contained in the lacquer cut can be transferred as directly as possible to the pressing stamper. The process is intended to preserve fine detail, dynamics and spatial information.
