The Grado Labs Prestige Gold4 Replacement Stylus is the genuine replacement stylus for listeners who want to maintain the performance of their Grado Prestige cartridge or upgrade to the highest level within the Prestige Series. The Gold4 features an elliptical diamond stylus combined with an aluminium cantilever for accurate tracking of the record groove.
The elliptical stylus profile provides effective groove contact and helps retrieve fine musical information from vinyl records. This contributes to detailed reproduction, clearly defined vocals and instruments and a controlled, balanced presentation. The aluminium cantilever provides a lightweight and stable connection between the diamond stylus and the cartridge generator.
The Gold4 stylus is designed to be replaced by the user, meaning a worn or damaged stylus does not automatically require replacement of the complete cartridge. Grado Prestige Series styli are interchangeable, making the Gold4 an attractive replacement or upgrade option for compatible Prestige cartridge bodies.
The Gold4 represents the highest performance level within the current Grado Prestige Series. When fitted to a Gold4 cartridge, Grado specifies a tracking force of 1.6 to 1.9 grams. After fitting a new stylus, we recommend checking the cartridge alignment and tracking force for optimum performance.
