The Furutech FI-12L (G) is a high-performance angled IEC C13 cable connector designed for building or upgrading premium power cables. Its adjustable cable direction makes it particularly useful where space behind an amplifier, streamer, DAC, power conditioner or other audio component is limited.
Instead of forcing a heavy power cable into a tight bend immediately behind the equipment, the FI-12L (G) allows the cable exit to be positioned more naturally. This helps reduce mechanical strain on both the cable and the IEC inlet while keeping the installation neat and organised.
The Furutech FI-12L (G) uses 24k gold-plated α (Alpha) phosphor-bronze conductors. Furutech places considerable emphasis on conductor materials, surface treatment and mechanical construction to create a stable and reliable electrical connection.
The durable gold-plated contact surface also offers excellent resistance to oxidation, making the FI-12L (G) highly suitable for premium power cables intended for long-term use.
The connector incorporates Furutech's Floating Field Damper System. Its nylon and fibreglass body contains carbon particles designed to help control mechanical vibration and resonance within the connector assembly.
