Knosti Disco-Antistat Generation II Plus - manual record cleaning machine

Looking for a straightforward manual kit to clean your vinyl collection thoroughly? The Knosti Disco-Antistat Generation II Plus combines a fluid bath with goat-hair brushes that clean both sides of the record. Turn the crank to rotate the record through the bath. This white version accommodates 7-, 10- and 12-inch vinyl and includes cleaning fluid and a drying rack. A practical choice if you prefer to clean your records by hand and leave them to air-dry afterwards.

What is included?

How to use the record cleaner

1. Place the cleaner on a stable surface and fill the bath as instructed in the manual. With the record inserted, leave a 3–5 mm gap between the fluid and the lower edge of the label protector.
2. Fit the label protectors and crank as instructed and lock the axle in place.
3. Turn clockwise only. Turning the other way may loosen the screw connection.
4. Lift the record out of the bath and hold it at an angle above the bath to drain before opening the label protectors.
5. Place the record in the drying rack. Allow it to dry completely before playing or storing it.
6. Filter fluid that is still suitable for reuse back into the bottle. Clean the machine as instructed and store all parts dry.

Advice and use

Wet cleaning is useful for records that have accumulated dust and dirt. Cleaning can remove contamination, but it cannot repair damaged grooves. Assess the results once the record is clean and completely dry.
