The Chord Company ClearwayX ARAY subwoofer cable is designed for multi-channel sound systems that demand consistent, powerful low-frequency performance. It is engineered to maintain signal integrity over longer runs, ensuring that the subwoofer receives a stable and reliable feed for impactful movie soundtracks and music.
ClearwayX ARAY employs a dedicated ARAY conductor geometry, heavy-gauge OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductors, upgraded XLPE insulation and a dual-layer shield. Together, these elements help to minimise interference and noise, allowing the subwoofer signal to travel with greater clarity and control. The result is a deeper, tighter and more articulate bass response.
A key feature of this subwoofer cable is the availability of ChorAlloy™ plated Chord VEE 3 RCA plugs and XLR connectors, offering broad compatibility with AV receivers, processors and active subwoofers. Standard lengths of 3 m and 5 m cover most installations, while custom lengths can be supplied on request for set-ups that require extended cable runs.
