The cable features ARAY conductor geometry, developed from the Tuned ARAY conductor configuration first used in the flagship Chord Sarum cable range. The primary purpose of this cable was to match the performance of the increasingly affordable high-quality digital players and turntables. The C-line cable is characterized by ARAY conductor geometry, multi-strand oxygen-free copper signal and return conductors, and high-density overwrapped foil shielding that reduces signal loss caused by high-frequency interference. The unique gold-plating process of the RCA plug improves signal transfer across audio frequencies. The over-moulded plug surround ensures a reliable connection.
The Chord C-line analogue audio interconnect is designed to work with all line-level components, including CD players, streaming devices, DVD players, home theater amplifiers, tuners, phono stages, and pre to power amplifier connections.
