Bring your treasured collection of historical 78 RPM records back to life with the Audio-Technica AT-VM95SP/H. Designed specifically for wider record grooves, this dual moving magnet cartridge features a special 3 mil bonded conical stylus suitable for shellac and other 78 RPM records. The cartridge comes pre-mounted on a black Audio-Technica AT-HS6BK headshell, making installation straightforward on compatible turntable tonearms.
Traditional 78 RPM records generally feature wider grooves than modern microgroove vinyl records. A dedicated stylus is therefore essential. The AT-VM95SP/H features a 3 mil conical stylus designed for these grooves, providing an appropriate playback solution for collectors and enthusiasts of historical recordings.
The AT-VM95SP cartridge is supplied already mounted on a black AT-HS6BK headshell. This eliminates the need to attach the cartridge to a separate headshell. Always verify cartridge alignment, overhang and tracking force after installation, following your turntable manufacturer's instructions.
