On previous albums, Allan Taylor sang songs about the road, about all the different countries and all the hotel rooms…
The new album delves deeper—into time and ultimately to the recognition: "All is one." A powerful philosophical statement with virtuoso lightness.
Someone approaching 70 who calls his album “All Is One” clearly has something to say.
Allan Taylor recently faced a life trial – a serious shoulder problem prevented him from playing guitar – not an easy situation for a musician. Fortunately, all that has since healed and been forgotten.
Not one to shy away from the tension and frustration, he returned to his instrument, his fans, and the recording studio at Stockfisch Records.
He could have presented this album as a grand comeback, a resurrection, but that is simply not the style of this master of contemplative tones.
